Blue Ridge CASA
Blue Ridge CASA located is a non-profit agency that trains volunteers to serve as a voice for children in the child welfare system. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate and these volunteers learn about the child’s background hoping to build a relationship with them. Their primary role is to be an advocate and speak up for the child’s best interest while collaborating with other workers involved to ensure the best results for the child.
Target
Adults aged 21+ who are willing and able to make at least an 18 month commitment to a child or children sponsored by Blue Ridge CASA.
Task
Create a cohesive set of Digital Interactive advertisements aimed at recruiting new volunteers for Blue Ridge CASA.
Big Idea
Fill the Gap
There are over 300 children in the Blue Ridge area in need of CASA, but only 52 volunteers. This gap needs to be filled and the big idea calls on locals of the Blue Ridge region to help.
