The Authentic Self vs. Social Media Identity

As I scroll through social media and observe everyday life, I am faced with an overwhelming amount of synchronicity. The creation of people's styles, hobbies, and interests feels counterfeit— a forgery of someone else's creativity, reduced to a fleeting trend. It seems convenient, and isn't it natural for humans to seek an easier way out, rather than embracing the slow, daring process of building one's character and personality over time?

Instead of emulating someone else, focus on discovering who you truly want to be. Let your heart guide that decision—free from the noise of outside opinions or social media influence. Wake up each day with the intention of embodying the person you're truly meant to be, rather than mirroring someone else’s image.

Learn to realize your feelings about who you decide to be, are enough, and make decisions accordingly. Get in touch with your values, your passions, and what is really important you, and make that your north star. Give me weird, different and eccentric, rather than the SAME. OLD. SHIT!

With love,
Ana xx
